Galatasaray to improve the state of the pitch

Galatasaray is considering tinkering with its Turkish Super League calendar to avoid damaging the playing surface at its stadium ahead of its crucial Champions League return leg against Real Madrid on 9th April. According to Turkish television station NTV, Galatasaray is very worried about the state of the pitch at the Türk Telekom Arena, the club’s impressive stadium, opened in northern Istanbul barely two years ago.
