Premier League of Twitter – which team has the biggest global network of followers?

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are the true top four – at least, they are in terms of Twitter followers. The social network has launched a ‘follower map’ detailing the popularity of each Premier League team around the world, and it’s dominated by just four teams. The interactive graphic (below) was produced by checking where the followers from each club’s official account come from, then colour-coding each area around the world by majority of supporters that live there.

Bankrupt Parma put up for sale for €20m by Italian judge

An Italian judge has given his approval for bankrupt Serie A club Parma to be put up for sale and binding offers of a minimum €20m (£14.4m) must be made by 6 May, the club said on Tuesday.
