Turkish football team Fenerbahce’s bus has been attacked tonight – reportedly shot at by an armed gang after leaving a game. The bus driver has been taken to hospital, according to website Todays Zaman, during the terrifying incident of football-related violence.

Fenerbahce team bus attacked on journey home from Rizespor match

The Fenerbahce team bus has come under armed attack as it drove to the airport following their 5-1 away win at the Black Sea side Caykur Rizespor in Turkey’s Super Lig. Fener said on their official website that the bus driver was wounded in the attack and taken to hospital.
