Sport picture of the day: water football in the River Windrush

For more than 100 years, the villagers of Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire have staged a summer football match in the River Windrush. Goals are placed up and downstream for two teams of six to compete over 15 minutes each way while knee-deep in the water.

Couple have sex on pitch after Brondby match

Brondby and Randers played out a boring 0-0 draw in the Danish Superliga last night, but the stadium did at least see some action – from a daring couple once the game had ended. A mystery duo snuck onto the centre circle after the fans had exited the stadium, and unbelievably started having sex in full view of Brondby Press Officer Mikkel Davidsen.
