Bundesliga the world's most attended football league

Frankfurt – The Bundesliga remains the most attended football league in the world, according to figures from the opening half of the 2013/14 season. Each top-flight game in the 2013/14 Hinrunde was attended by an average of 42,125* supporters, an increase of 1.81 per cent compared to the same period of the 2012/13 campaign, when the average attendance figure was 41,377.
