Gianfranco Zola barely warrants a second glance as he melts into the crowd gathered on Bickley Station most mornings of the week. While many of his fellow commuters from the affluent suburb in Kent head for desks in the City, or offices in the West End, the 46-year-old Italian’s destination is further north at Radlett, the closest station to Watford’s training ground at London Colney, in Hertfordshire.
